Hello, and welcome to our new website! We're Mick and Jade, a husband and wife team specializing in Newborn photography. Our studio is currently based Esher in Surrey.
Our story began at UEA, where we met, fell in love, and are now not only partners in life but proud parents to our two beautiful children – the greatest gifts life has given us.
I'm Jade. I pursued my passion for design at The Raffles Design Institute from 2003-2006, earning an advanced diploma in graphic design and photography. With over nine years of experience in this field, I took a brief detour in 2009 to study MSc in Marketing at UEA before rediscovering my true passion through motherhood.
And I'm Mick. My background includes three years of studying Chinese painting and fine art, honing my skills in hand drawing. Life took on a new meaning when I met Jade, and the journey of parenthood further fueled our passion for cherishing every moment.
Watching our family grow inspired us to use our skills to capture and immortalize each precious moment. That's why we always say, 'We are first parents and then photographers,' as love fuels our passion and creativity.
Despite our experience, we recognized the need for additional expertise to run a professional studio. In 2014, I completed a UK diploma course in portrait photography, and Mick achieved a UK diploma in wedding photography. These certifications bolster our confidence to provide not just beautiful images but also a unique experience during your session.
